“Mindfulness-Based Interventions for the prevention and treatment of depression: A lifetime perspective"


Thorsten Barnhofer is a clinical psychologist and researcher with a longstanding interest in the investigation of mindfulness-based interventions for the prevention and treatment of depression. He is currently a Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Surrey, where he is involved in projects investigating the efficacy and mechanisms of mindfulness-based interventions in the treatment of depression in highly vulnerable patients and across a broad range of age groups.
